Behind The Design

The editorial and crisp serif font provides a high-end refinement, cusomized letters tucked into one-another captures the unconventional artistry, and dances within the composition with the elements themselves represents that poetic romance within the experience. The primary logo is set in a straight line for organized structure. Little breaks from that structure (with the “T”, “L”, “I”, “E”, “C”, and “O”) represent those artistic and unexpected breaks from the layout (in other words - moments of witty humor and unexpected artistry). For further symbolization, the “T” hovering over the “A” and then the “L” holding the “I” and “E” shows that support and collaboration throughout Natalie’s process while the “O” layered within the “C” represents the different layers at a wedding and her dedication to uncovering them.

The brand also focuses on the beautiful bold structure of architecture — its editorial layout, strong type, image heavy composition — we then infuse it with interesting, unexpected, and intentionally artistic breaks in the layout. This will ultimately represent the idea that Natalie Nicole is here to document your day in a way that is wildly poetic and sophisticated while also peeling back the layers of the subplots and capturing those moments of witty humor and unexpected artistry. Showing the unusual in the usual, creating something artistic out of the mundane. Getting honest and creative in an otherwise beautifully poetic story.
